Jonathan Abshire’s upcoming documentary is an emotional call to remember who we are or were - and what we risk losing. This short trailer gripped my soul and revealed that this film is going to challenge my self-view through a stirring reflection on the untamed majesty of wild horses as symbols of strength, spirit, and survival.

As a lover of horses and racing, I find Jonathan’s exploration of Cristobal, his family, their compassionate training methods, and the connection they have with these animals incredibly thought provoking.

If you look at our two best WC runs in modern history, we knew precisely who the offensive "spine" of our team was and what positions they played for the year (or more) leading up to the tournament. 2010 - Bradley, Donovan, Dempsey, and Altidore; 2014 - Bradley, Jones, Dempsey, and Altidore. Injuries have hurt us, but Poch can't decide where to play his best player (Pulisic) or who to pair him with. The beautiful game requires creativity and combination play for success. This is impossible without significant time to build familiarity, learn tendencies, and forge trust. He should have begun doing this over the summer.
