Our ALIsens® in vitro model allows identification & differentiation of respiratory sensitizers and irritants, and can replace animal testing 🔬🐭 #animaltesting
For Lush Prize 2024, in addition to our usual prize categories that share £250,000 funds, we also have 3 new Recognition Awards - learn more at https://t.co/12pAryqNeI
Our ALIsens® model can replace rodent inhalation studies and will soon be available in a fully vegan version. Stay tuned! Thank you very much @thePSCI for such a donation!! ❤️Let's continue to fight #animalcruelty together 🐭🔬

We've received a major donation from PETA @thePSCI (https://t.co/pWXeYP9MDy) in the form of a Tecan D300e Digital Dispenser. This will allow us to further develop our human cell-based technology for predicting the respiratory sensitisation hazard of new chemicals and products.
The Tecan Digital Dispenser is capable of very precisely pipetting tiny amounts of liquid droplets onto the lung cells, mimicking the inhalation of aerosols. The donation will help us to test more chemicals even faster, which is an important step towards future standardisation.
The industry had no way of knowing whether their products contained respiratory sensitisers or irritants.
LIST’s tenth healthtech spinoff @Invitrolize fills this gap by recreating an #invitro model of the #alveolar
