For my first RIBAJ column I write about The Grove - a DIY skatepark in South London. The skaters occupation of this derelict private land shows how young people are taking back public space and resisting the commodification of our cities.

FAME collective has translated the data published in the RIBA Annual Report and Financial Statement (2019), page 4, and created the following graph to visually represent the current landscape of the race of students at each RIBA stage of architectural education.
