Today in Geneva, I discussed with H.E Mrs. Amy Pope, the Director General of the International Organization for Migration, methods to improve the collaborative efforts between the State of Qatar and the organization. It was a pleasure 2 host a delegation from the Netherlands at the UN House. This visit was in light of the UN solutions strategy 4 afghan refugees, of which Qatar is the chair & the Netherlands is a cochair. A wonderful hour of exchange & strategizing!

Exciting conversation this morning with the ambassador of Austria & the charge d’affaires of Singapore on migration & how it affects all our countries. A nice reminder that migration is part & parcel of our social fabric no matter where we come from and what our background is.
