Meet the Grad! Trooper Brock Cislaghi (#392) graduated from the DPS 54th Academy & is assigned to District 6 (Spencer). From Herrin, Illinois, he began his career with the Tennessee Highway Patrol. He enjoys hunting, sports, fitness & family time.

Congrats to Lt. Wade Major on his promotion to Captain! A graduate of Albia HS, with an A.A. in Criminal Justice from Iowa Western, he began his law enforcement career at District 16 (Capitol Complex) in 2004, moved to District 2 in 2006, and rose to Sgt. (2021) and Lt. (2024).

While our offices are closed, Troopers will continue serving Iowans and working to keep our roads safe during the holiday travel period.

Troopers, Agents, and other members of the Department of Public Safety took part in the Torch Run for Special Olympics. They helped bring the Olympic torch to its final destination in Ames. We feel privileged to show our support for this organization each year!

We were honored to host the Special Olympics and law enforcement agencies from across the state participating in the Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch Run kick-off! Today, many agencies, including the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy, relayed the torch from Des Moines to Ames!
