Violence against women should never be hidden, regardless of who is committing it, whether it’s a President or a King.
Verbally abusing your wife can leave wounds that are just as real as physical abuse. Both are harmful, and both should be condemned.
@MotauQueen58686@LeratoPillayZA Public servants must be held accountable ;kings, pastors, politicians, all of them. We cannot hide wrongdoing/ bad behaviours behind culture, religion, or the positions people hold in society. Accountability should apply to everyone.
@Selabe001@ashseraka I’m totally against that behaviour from both the women and the pastors. Any pastor who supports that is not fit to lead the church of God.
@MveloZulu88 We still have a long way to go in order to combat GBV if folks still want to defend the nonsense based on the culture or the position one holds in society.
@Selabe001@ashseraka I’m not saying a wife should run to a pastor instead of talking to her husband. A healthy marriage should have honest communication first.
My point is that when communication, trust, or leadership breaks down, people often look elsewhere for guidance…
@malumetbose@ashseraka Bro our relationships are built on DMs and restaurants tables. We don’t consult to God and our elders. Marriage compatibility is now about dressing well ,smelling good and driving a beautiful car…
@MmMolale@MattFils40 Simple as that we can’t shield nor hide bad behaviour . Our grandmothers suffered a lot I. Marriages cos of this thing is shielding this kind of behaviour
