i do not recommend Gevey sim, they use emergency network

well new jailbreak tool is out but for mac, untethered 4.2.1 for all iphones, create custom firmwares and leave the bb intact, NO unlock yet

new unlocking w/ BB 6.15 has problem with GPS & wifi, so use it at your own risk, also it will void your warranty, make sure you understand

ok apple released the 4.1, so do not update it if you need unlock or jailbreak
make sure you get it or you will regret it

if you updated your 3G to 4.0, you can downgrade to 3.1.3 or 3.1.2 then jailbreak and unlock no problem, 3GS cant, unless saved SHSH
