I'll never forget getting fired from my corporate job 7 years ago.

I moped home.
-Ashamed.
-Disgraced.
-Feeling so low.
-It was 100% my fault.

My wife meant me outside our front door.

A giant hug.
-We will build back together.
-God created you for more Tyler.
-I'm proud of you & always with you.

The next 6.5 years we did just that.
•Cancelled TV, side hustled like crazy, & lowered our cost of living.
•I watched my wife wake at 430am teaching English to Chinese kids.
•She helped me build my business & supported me every step of the way.

It's why I laugh at guys that talk crap on marriage.

Just ensure you have a TEAMMATE & a RIDE OR DIE.

My wife believed in me even when I didn't believe in me.

It paid off for both of us.

At 41 we are now financially free & living life on our terms.

I will keep preaching that this is a self-limiting mindset.

💡Vera Wang didn’t design her first dress until 40.
💡Samuel L. Jackson got his big break at 43.
💡Toni Morrison published her first novel at 39.

You're not behind - you’re just at your own phase, exactly where you need to be.

If you need that to change, you have to stand the fuck up, loathe handouts AND do something about it.

Your tears are useless if they don't motivate you to try harder - and you can't do that focusing on the race paths of others.

Perspective is everything and that, my friend, is what you lack. I do not say this kindly.

You think your cup is halfempty because you're 40.
All of the people above that I quoted, thought their cups were half-filled because they were 40.

Have you watched competitive cyclists cycle?
They are more focused on their own race, than the positioning of others.

I also want to assume that you know how to drive - can you imagine what happens if you focus more on the rear view than what's in front of you?

Everyone’s timeline is different, and yours still has plenty of room for greatness.

You’ve got more in you than you think - that's just me hoping.
