Today's main attraction was of course our historic Leyland Atlantean 6. It has recently received adverts for a more periodic style of the seventies to celebrate its 50th birthday.

This Sunday marks our rear‑engined bus running day, and with the forecast indicating warm conditions, we advise all attendees to bring a bottle of water to stay comfortably hydrated.
Bottled water will also be available for purchase in our tearoom throughout the day.
A splendid day ahead at Ipswich Transport Museum on Sunday 24 May from 11:00 to 16:00, celebrating 50 years of Leyland Atlantean Number 6 with vintage rides, visiting vehicles and the usual museum exhibits. Adults £14, Child £9, Concessions £12, Family £35.
That's the conclusion of the 2026 Ipswich to Felixstowe historic roadrun, which welcomed more than 650 vehicles throughout the day. Thank you to everyone who attended and supported the event.
