This Sunday marks our rear‑engined bus running day, and with the forecast indicating warm conditions, we advise all attendees to bring a bottle of water to stay comfortably hydrated.
Bottled water will also be available for purchase in our tearoom throughout the day.

A splendid day ahead at Ipswich Transport Museum on Sunday 24 May from 11:00 to 16:00, celebrating 50 years of Leyland Atlantean Number 6 with vintage rides, visiting vehicles and the usual museum exhibits. Adults £14, Child £9, Concessions £12, Family £35.

That's the conclusion of the 2026 Ipswich to Felixstowe historic roadrun, which welcomed more than 650 vehicles throughout the day. Thank you to everyone who attended and supported the event.

Ipswich to Felixstowe Run today! Vehicles leave Christchurch Park at 11:00 for the annual procession to the coast. Due to active roadworks, the convoy will follow the revised route shown in blue. Spectators should position themselves accordingly for safe viewing enroute. #Suffolk

FELIXSTOWE RUN ROUTE CHANGE. due to emergency roadworks in East Ipswich, entrants are being advised to go via Kesgrave and the A12 to avoid the traffic. The red line below will be followed by those who cannot go down the A12 but will be delayed due to expected traffic

Our Easter Trail starts in under an hour. Look for the clues hidden around the museum, explore the galleries as you solve them, and once you finish, the children can collect their Easter Egg reward.
