Vote against the Special Resolution at this year's AGM.Why?Because if you scratch under the glossy surface, you'll see that the board are seeking to remove checks and balances under the guise of greater democracy. Have a read at https://t.co/mb6DeU6Kc4 for an alternative opinion.

@teamIPSE members! Don't forget that the proxy registration ends at 10am on Thurs 24 Jan. We have updated our FAQ with a detailed analysis of ALL the changes the Board want to enact; there's a heck of a lot more than the 7 bullet points they gave you https://t.co/mb6DeU6Kc4
All - We have published a FAQ for why we are against the proposed governance changes that will be voted on at the AGM. You can read them here https://t.co/SqTdgy4lI2

The IPSE CC, who the members voted for is massively against these changes. They are undemocratic and will remove your current rights. Come see why we and others including the ex-Chair as well as other directors think this is wrong https://t.co/XSlyFRM8Y6

@consortstrategy @teamIPSE I’m sorry, I can’t see any vitriol here. Just some awkward questions that no one seems to be able to satisfactorily answer. A report was written with no citable evidence provided. That report is now the basis for fundamental changes to a member organisation with zero debate.
@consortstrategy @teamIPSE Ah. And here we get into an interesting discussion. No one says it’s bad, no one says it’s good. However it was interpreted as being bad. This is why showing your working out is always best practice as any school-age child knows. Shame that your report doesn’t do that eh?
@consortstrategy @teamIPSE The one thing we do agree on however is that there are some improvements that could be made. It’s a shame that those have been lost due to the massive stretch of the others. Hey ho, I guess that’s life.
@consortstrategy @teamIPSE No, the mere fact that the ToR was ignored, that there is no evidence or citation to back up your claims and some dodgy use of CA2006 does that for us..
Freelancers! If you are a member of IPSE you need to read https://t.co/3fLSPNgTf8 so that you can make an informed choice. The proposed changes will radically alter IPSE and turn it into a commercial rather than member organisation.
