Terrible news out of London today with the terror attack on the Jews outside of synagogue in Golders Green. This is a direct result of mainstreaming calls for violent extremism and the weak leadership that allows it to go unchecked. And let's not kid ourselves...NYC is not far behind London.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news here, but @SpeakerMenin bill does not actually create buffer zones to protect religious institutions.

Her intentions were good, but this is not a win for Jewish New Yorkers.

All this bill actually does is replace physical protection for Jewish institutions with paperwork and give politicians like Mamdani and Hochul ammunition to say they care about our safety, while doing nothing to protect us.
