@RandyCarltonsr@stevecofield Recruiting him isn’t the issue. The real question is whether the same eligibility rules are being applied to him as they are to every other player. If everything was handled fairly, the facts should make that clear.
@UNLVRebelGrl I can see why the sudden turnaround raised questions, especially with so much at stake. But big fourth quarter swing doesn’t prove the game was fixed. If the conference is favoring Boise State, there should be evidence to back that up. The stats and game footage deserve a closer.
@UNLVRebelGrl I agree that blocking emergency vehicles and assaulting officers is unacceptable. Protests should remain peaceful, and unlawful behavior should have consequences. Law enforcement needs to clear dangerous blockages while using proportionate force and protecting public safety.
@UNLVRebelGrl Exactly! If the rule is five years of eligibility, there should be a clear, consistent process to determine who qualifies. Players shouldn’t have to spend months in court just to get an answer. The NCAA needs a faster, transparent system that treats everyone fairly.
@Maxhaldeman13@stevecofield Exactly! If UNLV is willing to welcome players in that situation, then the same eligibility standards should apply to everyone. You can’t argue for fairness only when it benefits your own program.
@yanman14393@stevecofield Exactly! NIL has changed college sports forever. If athletes are getting paid, the NCAA needs to be transparent about what separates a college athlete from a professional. Clear definitions and consistent rules are long overdue.....
@UNLVRebelGrl That’s a fair question. If they’ve only played four years and haven’t used a redshirt or medical year, it makes sense to ask why they wouldn’t qualify for a fifth. The NCAA needs to clarify the rules and apply them consistently to everyone.
@MistaHooHoo@PTLHighstrom@stevecofield The NCAA’s inconsistent eligibility decisions are making the whole system look ridiculous. If players are eligible, the rules should be clear and applied consistently instead of dragging everything through lawsuits.
@ScottHudson@stevecofield At this point, it feels like everyone’s a pro! The rules need to clearly define what makes a player a professional, or this debate will never end.
@jdiblasi1119@stevecofield That explanation definitely raises questions! If he was automatically entered into the draft, the key is what that means under the eligibility rules. Fans deserve a clear explanation and consistent standards for everyone.
@J5Nelson@stevecofield 😂😂 Fair point! But regardless of who’s speaking, college basketball needs clear eligibility rules that apply equally to everyone.
@derek_belveal@stevecofield I respect that take. 👏 You can support KU and still admit the eligibility system has gotten out of control. Programs will take advantage of the rules as long as they can, so it’s time for clearer, fairer standards across college basketball.
