#IBCA at IRALE 2026 | Inaugural Programme
Dr Amit Mallick, Director (International Cooperation), delivered an inspiring inaugural address, highlighting India’s pivotal role in landscape-level conservation. He emphasised how IBCA can complement these efforts at a global scale through collaboration and shared vision.
As part of the IBCA special session, distinguished international experts were invited:

The Rally team had the honour of meeting Shri Nitin Gadkari Ji, Hon’ble Union Minister for Road Transport & Highways, GOI.
Shri Gadkari Ji appreciated the efforts being made towards conservation and awareness for big cats and encouraged the rally members.

On 5 February, the Rally for Big Cats team engaged with students from NIFT and tourists at Bee Fall, spreading awareness about the world’s seven big cats, the threats they face, and the role of responsible tourism in conservation.
By reaching out directly to youth and visitors in natural landscapes, the Rally for Big Cats initiative continues to inspire people to become active participants in wildlife conservation.
Day 10 of #BigCatsRally2026 at Satpura National Park, Madhya Pradesh.
At Dhoopgarh, the highest point of Satpura National Park, the Rally for Big Cats team engaged visitors and local stakeholders in conversations on wildlife conservation and the protection of the world’s seven big cats.
Set against the Satpura ranges, discussions focused on why big cats matter, the challenges they face, and the importance of responsible tourism in sensitive landscapes like Pachmarhi.
On 4 Feb 2026, the Rally for Big Cats team raised awareness on big cat conservation & human–wildlife coexistence at Satpura National Park.
Also had a meaningful discussions with Ms. Rishaba, Deputy Director, Satpura NP, strengthening collaborative conservation efforts.
