I received this message from Iran today:

“Nabaut for God’s sake, do something about the internet. After a month I was finally able to connect with a lot of difficulties and it cost me so much. Please, do something for the internet connection of Iranians.”

People in Iran have been cut off from the world for nearly a month, living in silence, fear, and complete isolation.

And today, the government announced that anyone who connects to the internet is considered a criminal and will be punished.

This is not just censorship. This is collective punishment.
