Episode 4: Potato Salad is out now! Apologies for the late episode. Not quite a barbecue. Not even close. Join us for a tale of family connections and Futurama. #MidnightDiner

Hello everyone! I hope everyone is doing well. I have been working on the next episode. It is a bit weird doing it solo and semi-scripted but I hope you all enjoy. I am shooting for a release this week.

Thanks as always! - Felix

@liprap Thank you so much. I really appreciate your kind words and thoughts. It has not been easy, but I am not giving up. - J

From Jim:
To all our fans - I usually let Felix handle the social media stuff since I’m an avowed Luddite, but I want to let everyone know that I am taking an indefinite leave from Irasshai for family medical reasons. With everything I have going on in my life right now, 1/2

[Irasshai @IrasshaiPod]

@liprap You always write a better synopsis than the both of us. Thanks for the support as always!

[Irasshai @IrasshaiPod]

Hey y'all. It's Felix checking in. Jim will be responding to everyone's dms and replies. We talked at length about me doing this solo. I am not sure of the format but I think it would be interesting to give it a shot. I could have guests and answer questions. What do y'all think?

[Irasshai @IrasshaiPod]

@golee1919 @TouristHousePod Thank you so much for taking the time to listen to the show! I really do mean it. We had so much fun making it and even more so when we hear from y'all. I am glad you do agree with our decision and hopefully you can continue to enjoy our content with our new show. - F

[Irasshai @IrasshaiPod]

@liprap I stand by mine... - F

[Irasshai @IrasshaiPod]

@liprap Not gonna lie, it was so annoying at first, now I find myself doing it with them hahahaha - F

[Irasshai @IrasshaiPod]

Unfortunately, my mic is definitely broken. I have ordered a new mic (upgrade) but that will mean no new episode this week. We should be back in schedule next week. Sorry for the delay. - F

[Irasshai @IrasshaiPod]

We may have a delay of an episode this week. My trusty Blue Yeti has kicked the bucket. I will keep y'all posted as soon as we try to figure something out. - F

[Irasshai @IrasshaiPod]

@liprap Liking for the future. We need to add a benefit for patreon supporters where we do a cooking segment. You can see how bad I am.... - F

[Irasshai @IrasshaiPod]

Episode 2: Neko Manma (Cat's Rice) is out now! We question if life is like the Nile. The major themes in this episode that we discuss are "Doing What You Love" and "Going Wherever Life Takes Me". #MidnightDiner

Quick question for y'all: Does anyone use YouTube to listen to podcasts?

[Irasshai @IrasshaiPod]

@Hearthrose Apologies for the late reply. This is super interesting and I'm always down to go down a YT rabbit hole. - F

Super excited for our new avatar and podcast cover art. We commissioned this painting and it came out better than we expected. Here is the artist's IG: https://t.co/qFSLWYm6yG
