@RadLacina @KissineMikhail This does not address the classic "Some dogs are mammals" case; You would need to tell it that "All daxes are dumbos" before asking the test question. Sorry for multiple replies :-)
@wisekaren 'Squib' is occasionally used in academic journals (and in my mind linguistic journals) to describe a type of short article that (the author considers to be) potentially impactful. Some of my favorite pieces are squibs. That said, I associated these with the firework meaning.
@OnSophiaStreet I’m there. So far it feels like that moment early at a work party where people are eyeing each other but not interacting much. But it does have the feel of Twitter. I do miss the political stuff.
@jasondhorowitz@NewYorker A writer friend sent me your piece, undoubtedly b/c I too grew up with the Mets (played LL in Flushing Meadow next to Shea), have kids who I raised abroad (France) & with whom I shared my love of baseball & the Mets. Don't worry, Luca will get it. OTOH, if they win next year...
@sergioten Don’t mean to sound snarky (I’m not a big enough football fan to go all out for it but I also know a lot of people boycotting it this time).
