6/6 Les Honorables Députés ont plaidé pour la population qui se fait voler leur argent par la pratique de la cryptomonnaie.

Pour le Ministre des finances, du budget et de la planification économique, la cryptomonnaie est même reconnue par la Banque centrale. Par ailleurs, force lui a été de constater que cette pratique connait des limites au Burundi. Néanmoins, il juge que c'est justement par la matérialisation de la loi que les erreurs se font remarquer. Mais dans l'entre-temps, certains malfaiteurs se font attraper. La coopération internationale autorisera même le gel des biens et des fonds.

Le retrait limité des détenteurs des comptes bancaires est un aspect qui pique au vif les Honorables Députés.
L'idée, a rétorqué le Membre du Gouvernement, est de limiter le port en sac des montants colossaux. Les hommes d'affaires devraient privilégier les pratiques de transfert et de chèque. Néanmoins, il a promis de négocier avec la BRB en vue de revoir en hausse ce plafond de retrait qui se chiffre à trente millions de francs Burundi (30.000.000BIF).

Au terme d'un long débat et analyse approfondie au sujet des amendements, le projet de loi a été adopté à l'unanimité des Honorables Députés présents.
