Following the Ukraine–Southeast Europe Summit, I held meetings with the leaders of the participating countries @sandumaiamd, @NicusorDanRO, @avucic, @BajramBegajAL, @AndrejPlenkovic, @JJansaSDS.

With each of them, we had in-depth discussions about our bilateral relations and how to strengthen them, as well as the broader international agenda. Ukraine values the support of the countries of Southeast Europe, and we are committed to building reliable, strong partnerships. Together, we can do a lot to strengthen our shared security and advance our development. We have promising projects with nearly every country in the region.

Moldova, Romania, Serbia, Albania, Croatia, and Slovenia – thank you for your solidarity. For the second time, the summit in this format has been held in Ukraine, and it is important that the leaders come to our country and see what Ukrainians endure every day. I am grateful that after our meetings the leaders visited the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, damaged by a Russian strike in June. We must continue pressuring the aggressor so that these attacks against life come to an end and a dignified peace can be achieved.

Десять держав Європи, включно з Україною, у понеділок, 13 липня, за результатами установчого засідання в Парижі оголосили про створення Інтегрованої коаліції антибалістичної оборони — структури, яка розвиватиме антибалістичний потенціал усього континенту.

«Ми вважаємо, що захист Європи вимагає глобального рішення інтегрованої архітектури протиракетної оборони для стримування та подолання майбутніх ракетних загроз — розробленої завдяки колективним зусиллям, технологічній відкритості та довірливій промисловій співпраці. Вона доповнить існуючі системи протиракетної оборони, включаючи суверенні європейські рішення, які вже придбані або будуть придбані країнами-учасницями», — йдеться у декларації.

Сам факт створення такої коаліції — це початок справжньої суб'єктності Європи. І важливо, що Україна тут не прохач, а один із десяти співзасновників. Не країна, яку «взяли під парасольку», а держава, без якої цей щит просто неможливий. Ми єдині в Європі, хто прямо зараз, у реальних умовах, збиває російські ракети і дрони. Наш досвід і технології — це фундамент, на якому вибудовується вся ця архітектура.

Не менш важливо й те, що в основу коаліції був покладений принцип, який я обстоюю роками: «технологічна відкритість» і «суверенні європейські рішення». Це прямий сигнал — Європа більше не хоче цілковито залежати від заокеанських постачань і чужих «червоних ліній». Вона будує систему, де всі учасники відкриті одне до одного і мають рівний доступ. Не ієрархію, у якій хтось один диктує умови, а партнерство рівних.

Ось як виглядає та сама суб'єктність, про яку ми говоримо роками. Не Америка вирішує, чи можна Європі захищатися. Європа будує щит сама. Крок за кроком, коаліція за коаліцією, ми переходимо від епохи випрошування до епохи спільної сили.

❗️The IOC's decision to lift its recommendations restricting the participation of Russian athletes sends a deeply concerning signal to the international community.

We call on the governments of countries hosting international sporting events not to permit the display of Russian state symbols on their territory. Under this flag, Russia continues its unprovoked and illegal war against Ukraine.

Every day, civilians are killed, cities are destroyed, and international law is violated. The symbols of an aggressor state have no place at international sporting events.

The Olympic Movement is founded on the principles of peace, respect for human dignity, and solidarity. We therefore hope that the issue of the use of Russian state symbols at the Olympic Games will be addressed separately and with the utmost responsibility.

We also call on international sports federations to maintain the existing restrictions on representatives of the aggressor state, in line with their commitment to protecting the integrity and values of international sport.

Ukraine will continue working closely with its international partners to uphold these principles and to ensure that international sport is never used as a tool to legitimize aggression or whitewash the actions of a state that continues to wage war.

Відсьогодні український аудіогід працює в меморіалі Аниткабір – місці пам’яті Мустафи Кемаля Ататюрка та одному з головних символів Туреччини. Саме Ататюрк 100 років тому заклав основи сучасної турецької держави, започаткував масштабні реформи, розширив права жінок на освіту й працю.

Today, for the first time, a prayer was held at the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra that brought together priests from different regions of Ukraine – those whose churches have been damaged and destroyed by Russian strikes. Ukraine’s wounded churches: in the Kharkiv region, the Sumy region, Dnipro, Chernihiv, and Irpin. Together with them, priests from Berdiansk, the Odesa region, and the Ternopil region, who went through the hell of Russian captivity, prayed for Ukraine.

Father Vasyl Fedorenko, who combined service to God and military service – defending Mariupol and baptizing fighters at Azovstal. Chaplain Mykola Luchynskyi, who opened an exhibition about this war in a church in Khmelnytskyi, bringing its exhibits himself after his regular trips to the front. A parish minister in the Ivano-Frankivsk region, Ivan Teremko, who once underwent an amputation and today visits our severely wounded fighters and strengthens their spirit. The head of the Polish church in the Mykolaiv region, Paweł Staniaszek, who was born in Poland but has lived in Ukraine since 2014, having chosen helping our people and our warriors at the front as his mission. And Valentyn Horokhovskyi from Kherson, who did not surrender his church to the occupiers, evacuated many children from the captured city, and returned to his church after Kherson was liberated – because truth always prevails.
