Tuesdays notes for live period and what college coaches look for!

1. 🔥Motor. Play hard on every play and you will turn heads.
2. 🔥IQ. Are you making the best choices when you have the ball in your hands? When you are off the ball? Defensively?
3. 🔥Talking!!! You have to talk on defense to be a great defensive team. Period.
4. 🔥Attitude. Be hyped and encouraging whether you are on the court or on the bench.
5. 🔥Do what you are good at and don’t try to show something you are not! Showcase what you can bring to a program.
6. 🔥Shot selection!

Things that coaches don’t care about. Teams that press. 10-15% of college programs use it as a regular defense. Coaches want to see you guard man to man in half court. They want to see you play offense in a half court.
Plays… lol. Coaches are not there to watch the coaches out coach each other. They want to see how kids..
React to the game. How they attack spaces. How they decide on when to pass and when to shoot. Do you over dribble or do you utilize the opportunity to attack. Do you move well without the ball on your own. Shot selection! Help on defense. Foot movement. Body positioning. Being a teammate! Just my 2 cents.
