review: My Mart, Admiralty Way, Lekki 1.

i’ve been shopping at my mart for over two years now, and it remains my favourite place for grocery shopping on the island. they are located on admiralty way, lekki 1, a couple of blocks opposite farm city.

the store is laid out in a way that feels homespun. it gives the impression of walking through a well stocked panty, with groceries collected from different parts of the world. yet, it is coordinated in a way that feels comfortable and snug, compared to the overwhelming effect you might likely get from stores like prince ebeano on the same admiralty way.

they genuinely have almost everything you’d need for your home, kitchen and cooking.

the store is divided into sections: there is diary, fruits and vegetables, pasta, diary, meat, biscuits, body care, smoking and shisha items, burner, and more.

the attendants, from lebanese to the nigerian staff are consistentlywarm and friendly (in that professional manner). the security men are equally courteous.

if you’re the type that prefers cozy, less crowded shopping stores, and don’t fancy the idea of bumping into people, My Mart, lagos, would be ideal for you.

ps: this is not an ad. i am only reviewing their admiralty way branch in lagos. i can’t speak for any other branch of theirs.
