There is plenty of research to show that being regularly exposed to loud traffic noises, as many Canadians are on a daily basis, can have harmful long-term health effects beyond just our hearing. https://t.co/HYbsEFV2IO
Organics collection and composting is a key component in waste management and climate action. Join me in pushing City Council to vote yes to compost pickup in Winnipeg! https://t.co/f11PKwyr0w
1/ This morning, I made the case to cancel the Chief Peguis Trail and Kenaston Capital Projects and replace them with strategic investments that would raise the value of our lands so that we can reduce the tax burden.
hey @winnipegtransit please tell drivers going through Wolseley (#10) to SLOW DOWN until the roads are fixed (or maybe forever?) My windows are literally rattling as the bus SLAMS through potholes. Until @cityofwinnipeg can fix please slow drivers down! TY.
@cityofwinnipeg I think i’m more concerned about my house SHAKING every time a bus passes. i’ve used 311 online twice asking who to talk to and been met w silence. If 30km/h was implemented this would be less of an issue
Hey @cityofwinnipeg can you PLEASE ask bus drivers to be considerate of neighbourhoods and just SLOW DOWN. The #10 bus is literally shaking my house every time it passes and slams into the potholes on Wolseley. Simple solution, just go 30km/h and watch where you’re going.
Also want to add that the #10 bus driver that picks up all the morning students is amazing otherwise. Always stops for the latecomers and helps kids get to school. So big ups.
This Matthew Timothy Wilson must be one of the world’s biggest POS… taking a 92YO to court because you want her property? Just leave her alone. https://t.co/yT2jVDY3il
Just to give you a sense of the state of things, My Winnipeg isn't available for streaming in Canada on any service anymore. It is not available for students on Kanopy or Criterion-on-Demand anymore either.
