JUST IN:
Peter Obi speaking against giving Governors money without any checks as far back as 12Years ago.
His CONSISTENCY is alarming. 🔥🔥
“You can’t pay the bill of a drunk while he’s still in the Bar” - Peter Obi 2013 (against the proposed FG bail out funds to Governors)
Obi, a Christian, attended a church programme. He was called to address the congregation. He had every right to sell his candidacy to the gathering by speaking about himself, but he chose instead to make a simple request: please pray for us politicians to do the right thing.
Suddenly, supporters of a political party running a same-faith ticket in a country with almost equal religious representation, together with supporters of a politician who boldly told a section of the country not to vote for candidates from other zones, are running around claiming that Obi did this and that.
This is the height of hypocrisy!
Doctors went on strike in Anambra, and returned with increased pay.
Doctors went on strike in Lagos, and got sacked.
Good morning, my Harmless brethren.
Code mobile billboard activated. You can't beat an idea which time is now. Nigeria is OK ✌
I saw this, like it and repost here. If you want Peter and NDC to win. Oya repost and comment. Peter Obi
Stay on your grind, be content. Stop being envious of people.
Be happy with that small salary, you earned it, don’t let anyone bamboozle you.
Joy is a state, always remain in that state.
“I believe people like you are the ones keeping our country. The only thing I can ask is that you remember us, the politicians, in your prayers. We are the problem of this country. There is nothing wrong with our country; it is only båd leadership.”
—Mr. Peter Obi speaking today at Koinonia Global Church in Abuja.
Sometimes, the thing putting your life at risk is the marriage you have been trying desperately to survive.
We tell women to endure because there are children.
"Who will accept you with children?"
"Where will you go?"
"Your children need their father."
"Do not break your home."
"No marriage is perfect."
Then the same society turns around when a woman finally breaks and asks, "Why did she not just leave?"
Why must we decide for another couple what their marriage should survive?
If a woman chooses to forgive her cheating husband and rebuild her marriage, we call her strong, mature, and committed to her family.
But when a man says the same thing, people start to question his manhood.
Online in-laws and strangers, who have no stake in the marriage beyond gossip, will be the loudest voices telling a man to divorce his wife the moment she is the one who cheats.
Meanwhile, when the roles are reversed, those same voices will preach patience, prayer, and the sanctity of marriage to the woman.
Cheating is wrong, whether it is a man or a woman doing it, but forgiveness and reconciliation are personal decisions. And personal decisions aren't things that should be broadcast publicly.
Some couples have rebuilt trust after betrayal.
Some have separated and later found their way back to each other.
Some have forgiven without reconciling.
Some have decided that the marriage is over.
The people inside the marriage should be allowed to decide what their marriage can survive.
A woman deciding to forgive her husband and work on her marriage is not stupid. Neither is the man who has decided to forgive his wife and rebuild his home. He is not weak either.
You do not have to stay in a marriage after betrayal, but you also don't have to leave one because Online people have decided that leaving is the only dignified response.
There are marriages that can be repaired, and there are marriages where two people have simply refused to do the work required to repair them.
There are marriages where counselling, therapy, humility, accountability, communication, and genuine change can bring two people back to each other.
And there are marriages where one person has spent years begging, explaining, forgiving, reconciling, and trying again, while the other person keeps destroying everything and calling it marriage.
Those two situations aren't the same.
If there is love, safety, willingness, and something worth saving in your marriage, fight for it.
Take responsibility for the things you have done to hurt each other.
Stop bringing the same wounded versions of yourselves into the same room and expecting a different marriage.
But if you have genuinely tried, sought help, and there is still no willingness from your partner to change, you can and should leave. At that point, leaving is not failure.
So in trying to save your struggling marriage, both of you must be willing to work on yourselves, not just demanding that the other person changes.
Watching people who know nothing about your marriage form opinions about your decision is certainly not easy.
But neither is spending the rest of your life disappearing inside a marriage, or even throwing it all away simply because you are afraid of what people will say.
No one said marriage must be preserved at all costs, and no one said every marital wound must automatically end in divorce.
Forgive if you genuinely want to forgive. Stay if you genuinely believe there is something worth rebuilding. Leave if staying is destroying you.
But make that decision after careful thought.
Some marriages need forgiveness, and some need counselling. Some need two people to grow up and do better, while some need to end.
The wisdom is knowing which one you are in.
Do not go down with a sinking ship, but do not abandon a ship that can still be repaired simply because people on the shore are shouting at you to swim away.
I thoroughly enjoyed listening to Fr. George’s analysis of the Nigerian problem. He articulated, with remarkable clarity and insight, many of the fundamental issues at the heart of our national predicament.
In his words:
“If the government wants to reduce poverty, they need to fix insecurity. Nigerians are not asking for palliatives; it is an insult.”
“Nigerians are hard-working and creative people; they can take care of themselves. All they need is to provide security and ensure utilities are not beyond their reach.”

Mary, Faithful Mother, intercede for us when we are tempted to give up. When the road becomes difficult and our strength begins to fail, obtain for us the grace to persevere. Help us remember that God sees every sacrifice and that no act of faithfulness is ever wasted. Amen.
This woman is good: she asked; how much for a ‘rubber’ of rice that time? She understands the extent Tinubu has destroyed this country.
People can’t even eat twice a day comfortably. Kawai!
