There is no excuse for comparing the arrest and deportation of non citizens with the Gestapo hunting Anne Frank.

The systematic extermination of European Jewry shouldn't be used as a political weapon. It insults the memory of Anne Frank and the other martyrs of the Holocaust.

Anne Frank was a young 14 yo girl who was forced to go into hiding because German Nazis were systematically deporting Jews to concentration camps where they were either gassed to death or worked to death as slaves. She and her entire family were ultimately captured. Everyone but her father died at Bergen Belsen.

ICE is deporting illegal immigrants back to their home countries.

The two are nowhere near alike.

And no, Anne Frank’s Diary wasn’t a children’s story.

Absolutely appalling. I have no words for this. Tim Walz is a disgrace.
