@PPP8585PPP@amelia_tweetz I think this is a misconception. Soccer isn’t the most popular sport in the US. So the majority of fans for any team aren’t going to be American unless you’re specifically talking about our own team.
@MoggMentum@amelia_tweetz This person has made multiple tweets criticizing the US government. You’re literally projecting in this very comment acting like all Americans think the US is the greatest nation on earth.
@MarriedtoBringo@amelia_tweetz I mean yeah basically. But no Americans questioning this isn’t recent, it just becomes more obvious and difficult to ignore when you interact with people who have better benefits.
@amelia_tweetz They have a far better deal than Americans do in terms of vacation time. American work life balance is kind of nonexistent by comparison.
Thomas Partey is charged with multiple counts of rape and sexual assault by four women. He’s still playing at the World Cup.
He denies it and will stand trial.
Good on Djed Spence for refusing to shake his hand - that showed conviction and recognises the seriousness of the charges.
Declan Rice going in for a hug was a choice too…
Another rapist/sexual abuser that’s been protected and gets to play on the biggest stage: Sano from 🇯🇵.
Sexually assaulted a woman with his friends. Wasn’t indicted.
The head coach said he made a “mistake”, regrets it and he shouldn’t be casted out of society for it.
@JillianSakovits Honestly with the way these men are acting I just want to watch women’s sports exclusively atp. At least nobody playing at the women’s world cup has been a rapist 💀
Declan Rice getting (rightfully) whacked for hugging Partey but you lot had no qualms with Haaland embracing Hakimi?? Yh sorry but the fake moral outrage when it has to do with players you hate compared to players you like is also disgusting btw, none of you care about the victims
btw the audacity of players like jude bellingham to rightfully call greenwood a r@pist only to then go ahead and shake partey’s hand.
is violence against women just a punchline for you to use on the field ?!?!
Twitter is incredible. You can simply suggest that football needs a blanket protocol as to the steps clubs need to take when a player is charged with sexual assault(s) and you get responses like ‘f*** you’ which demonstrates the problem in its’ entirety: respect for women.
@dahontr3@HausenKS Americans living in the Deep South using ac isn’t an example of wasting energy. The temperatures regularly get into 90F, people would die 💀
