On #InternationalYouthDay. Under this year’s theme, “Local Youth Actions for the SDGs and Beyond,” we celebrate the power of young changemakers advancing menstrual health and education at the grassroots level. Together, we’re forging a future filled with dignity, opportunity, and possibility.

#MHDay2025#MenstrualJusticeForAll
Menstrual Health is a human rights issue, and there's a pressing need for Members of Parliament to prioritise it in policy and budgeting. I call on my fellow legislators to champion access to menstrual products, inclusive WASH infrastructure, and MHH education.

Back in 2023 as part of the #EveryPeriodCounts movement we teamed up with @LoveYourPeriod1 to collect period stories for change.
Enforcing the narrative that periods are ‘disgusting’ continues to build on already harmful stigmas and misconceptions, through generations.🩸
Now more than ever we want to extend our support to the entire Irise community, especially our trans community. We see you. We love you. Our stance on menstrual justice for ALL is only strengthened by yesterday’s ruling.
A massive congratulations to our youth member, Molly.
Molly is a powerful voice - through speaking out to challenge stigma and drive policy change, she demonstrates how youth voice is leading the transformative social change we need to see in the menstrual justice movement.
@mollyfentonx is changing the world, one conversation at a time. She founded @LoveYourPeriod1 which shaped UK policy and inspired thousands of young people to speak up for their health. We're so proud to Induct her into our Hall of Fame!🌟
‼️There are rumours of proposed cuts to the Free Period Product Scheme in England.
While our work is based in Wales, we are standing in solidarity with our friends and partners to protect this essential scheme.

We have heard the rumoured cuts to the period product schemes in schools across England under the Department of Education.
We’re in the process of drafting a response along with the Period Equity Alliance ahead of the spring statement.
We are running Sheffield Half Marathon for Irise International THIS SATURDAY, a youth led organisation striving for menstrual justice for all.

Our incredible Period Champion Sabiha has organised her own event for International Women’s Day at Sheffield Town Hall alongside the Lord Mayor @JaynePDunn!
Free for all to turn up.
@Merryse235@mollyfentonx Thank you both for your contribution. Sarah for taking your evening to be with us. And Molly for your contribution and extra help over the few months assisting. We look forward to next steps 😊
