Irish 4 Reproductive Health (I4RH) is an all-volunteer, student-led community organization advocating for reproductive justice at the University of Notre Dame
After consultation with experts and health officials to develop a plan to ensure the health and safety of all members of the campus community, we will welcome students back to campus for the fall semester the week of August 10: https://t.co/b3aVqc4r39
Today is #TransDayOfVisibility
Please take a moment to honor those who were senselessly taken last year + so far this year.
To the trans community: you are SEEN, valued + loved.

When we get these requests, we pass them on to all of our members who may participate. However, the autonomy of a pregnant person’s body is something we fight to protect, often from the organizations behind these events, so members usually choose not to engage in these debates.
After sending the debate application to I4RH, FeministND, CDems, and Women in Politics, we did not have any pro-choice female students complete the application process. We encourage women to apply to our many dialogue events and will continue sharing these events w above groups.
Abortion is discussed as a potential harm to women. Where does that idea of harm come from? What harm is done when women are denied?
Next week, Diana Greene Foster joins the Women's and Gender Studies Department's Women's History Month to share her book, The Turnaway Study.
We’re here to support all survivors, and can only hope this decision leads to lasting change in our community. For too long, ND has offered nothing but complicity to victims, choosing instead to protect abusers w/silence. This action isn’t nearly the justice survivors deserve.
“No single issue — reputational, conduct or COVID — is the reason for this change. ... Taken all together, we no longer believe Zahm is equipped to welcome new students in a manner that we can offer and is owed to every student,“ the email said.

I was supposed to join a career panel at my alma mater but was, I kid you not, *uninvited* "due to the nature of NARAL's work"
If you're gonna ~cancel~ me @NotreDame can you cancel my student loans while you're at it
Good news alert 👏 #Argentina will drop all criminal charges against people who were accused of having abortions. Last week abortion officially became legal in the country. This is another major victory for reproductive rights in Latin America! https://t.co/IEqizgBDW7
There is extremely good work being done throughout campus by colleges and departments to combat systemic racism. It is undermined when a university so determined to be a leading voice in civil rights pretends that racism doesn’t exist at home.
Judge Barrett’s nomination is indicative of the singular carelessness of this administration for anyone other than 45’s base. As a professor here at Notre Dame, she has written dismissively of following Supreme Court precedent.

We all share a responsibility to keep each other safe and healthy during this time. I4RH encourages us all to be creative about how we partake in sexual activity to slow the spread of COVID-19. https://t.co/Ilp0mFmtY7
I just received a facebook message from a white woman I've interacted with exactly once, asking me to help her educate her three children on "everything that is going on." because this somehow still needs to be said, white people, please don't do this.
@fast_pace_2 @NotreDame We need a #freespeechzone on campus. Some ND leaders will do anything to prevent us from gathering peacefully to hold them accountable. Total betrayal of its stated values.
