This video is the clearest one I’ve seen. Per the rules, A’ja should be suspended for game three for entering the stands. Something tells me she will get special treatment, as she usually does.
This is how petty Aja Wilson is.
The fan said from this clip “That’s on you” and pointed at Aja Wilson. The fan didn’t charge her, he simply pointed and said that foul was on her.
Again — a sore loser.
WNBA Rule 12A, Section V: A player who deliberately enters the spectator stands during a game is automatically ejected. The first row of seats is considered the beginning of the stands.
A’ja Wilson was assessed a technical. She was NOT ejected.
Look at this picture and tell me with a straight face she didn’t enter the stands. 🤨
And since the officials failed to enforce the rule in the moment, the WNBA absolutely needs to review this for possible additional discipline before Game 3.
Rules are rules. MVP or not.
@Jk0272465051008@BR_Ellington To be a violation, the offense needs to have control (holding the ball, dribbling, eg) and no other Fever player had even touched the ball. So, there is no over and back. Smart given the situation (no timeouts left)
@Brigette912 Agree. It is even more impressive when looked at on a percentage basis. In order shown:
14%
8%
35%
<5%
CC has recorded a double double in 35% of the games in which she has played. So impressive!
@angelaganote@FOX59 I always wonder if people are truly focused on their driving. Our vehicles are heavy and when combined with speed, they are forceful weapons. I think we all need to look at this and ask ourselves: do I look at my phone or otherwise get distracted when driving?
@ClayTravis This is nuts. I would have been laughing out loud also. Plus, what is the issue at 0:55 that the player named Austin is having with with red hair coloring running down her face and neck? That deserves a “Come on, (wo)Man” for sure.
I am happy to see the Cubs score 3 in the bottom of the 4th tonight, but ESPN didn’t capture the play-by-play accurately. The guy tripled and then overran the bag by a foot because he didn’t slide. He was tagged out to end the inning. 3rd-base coach was way out of position too.
