The Irish Post have received a leaked letter from the ATD Army Council to Sinn Féin TD, usmarineevan. This comes after Evan successfully passed legislation banning members of paramilitaries from serving in the dáil.
Sinn Féin has held their Deputy Leadership debate. Both Evan and Valourist refused a comment when asked about their confidence in Michael McGrath's leadership, but towards the end Valourist announced he would be contesting the leadership of Sinn Féin.
The leader of Sinn Féin Michael McGrath has been confirmed as to saying "Evan is a little too anti para" in regards to the Sinn Féin TD usmarineevan. This is following Evan passing a series of bills that make it harder for members of paramilitaries to serve in the dáil.
This is because of the newly passed Legislative Representation Bill, 2022, which prohibits those currently involved in paramilitaries from serving as a TD.

The leader of Sinn Féin, who was recently spotted at an An Tríocha Dó training opted to Staon on the bill.

paramilitaries will not be allowed to serve within the Dáil. This of course is a big problem for Sinn Féin, who're known for their connections to organisations such as the Irish Nationalist Liberation Army and An Tríocha Dó.
Former Leader of The Opposition, ArthurBrogan, has won the Fianna Fáil leadership election, gaining 10 votes, whilst the second most popular candidate, Tormentium, only had 3.
