๐ Good day, Web3! @soqucoin just crushed another epic week packed with alpha updates!
โก๏ธ Soqucoin Labs onboarded a powerhouse new CMO โ Nick Fouriezos (@nick4iezos)! Former DC-based political journalist turned elite tech marketer, with deep expertise in blockchains and startups. We're thrilled to have him on board. Nick brings massive vision and proven firepower โ big things ahead for Soqucoin!
โก Major Tech Drop: Soqucoin delivered Layer 2 SOQ Lightning to Stagenet! Featuring ELTOO payment channels that need zero third-party monitoring โ no watchtowers required. This is seriously bullish: faster transactions, better efficiency, and true next-level scaling.
โก๏ธ VC Momentum: Held high-level meetings with top funds including Castle Island Ventures and Foundation Capital. Any VC commitment here could seriously rocket the projectโs trajectory.
โก๏ธ Last but not least โ Game Changer: We launched Soqupool, our new PoW merge-mining pool!
-Ultra-low fees to rival the big players
-Earn free SOQ on top of your regular LTC/Doge rewards
-First-of-its-kind post-quantum payouts for SOQ
Soqucoin is building the post-quantum standard. The future is quantum-resistant โ and weโre leading the charge! ๐ช

In EP 1, I introduced @soqucoin as a project building with the quantum era in mind.
But that still leaves an important question:
Why did it catch my attention in the first place?
After all, there are thousands of crypto projects competing for attention every day.
What stood out to me is that Soqucoin doesn't seem obsessed with being the fastest chain, the cheapest chain, or the loudest project in the room.
Instead, it appears focused on a much bigger question:
What happens if the security assumptions crypto relies on today don't hold up forever?
The more I read, the more I noticed the project wasn't trying to reinvent everything from scratch. It keeps familiar ideas like Proof of Work, mining, and decentralization, while exploring how crypto infrastructure could be made more resilient for the future.
That approach feels very different from most of what I see in the market today.
Maybe nothing comes from it.
Maybe it becomes an important part of a much bigger conversation.
Either way, I think it's a question worth paying attention to.
In EP 3, we'll talk about the problem itself:
Why does quantum computing even matter to crypto?
ML-DSA-44 (the signature scheme Soqucoin uses) is a lattice-based post-quantum algorithm. Its security is based on hard lattice problems (Module-LWE / Module-SIS), not on brute-force searchable secrets in the way youโre thinking. NIST designed ML-DSA-44 specifically to provide ~128-bit security even against quantum attackers.
