Meet Your Words on the Page Facilitators: Joanne Hayden!
Joanne Hayden’s work has been published in literary journals such as the Dublin Review, Banshee, the Cormorant and the Storms and has been broadcast on RTÉ Radio.
Joanne has worked extensively as a literary critic and arts journalist and has facilitated creative writing workshops for adults, teenagers and children. She is a longtime volunteer mentor with Fighting Words. In 2023/2024, she was an Emerging Writer in Residence for Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown.

Meet Your Words on the Page Facilitators: Jessica Traynor! 🖋️
Jessica Traynor is poetry editor at Banshee and the author of four poetry collections. Her third collection, Pit Lullabies (Bloodaxe, 2022), was a Poetry Book Society Recommendation, an Irish Times book of the year, and a Guardian Best Summer Read of 2022. It was shortlisted for the Yeats Society Sligo/ Irish Independent Poetry Prize. New Arcana (Bloodaxe, 2025) was an RTÉ and Irish Independent Book of the Year and was shortlisted for the Pigott Prize. She is a 2025 EU Press Prize Laureate, was 2024 recipient of the Tundish Award from Field Day for contributions to the arts in Ireland, and the 2023 recipient of the Lawrence O’Shaughnessy Award for Irish Poetry.

Meet Your Words on the Page Facilitators: Roe McDermott! 🎤
Roe McDermott is a writer, journalist and Fulbright scholar with an MA in Journalism, an MA in Sexuality Studies from San Francisco State University, and an MFA in Creative Writing. Roe is a columnist for The Irish Times, the film editor for Hot Press magazine, an arts critic for various publications and national radio shows.
Roe has taught creative writing to students in secondary/high school, and at undergraduate and graduate level. In August 2020, Roe was awarded the Irish Arts Council’s Next Generation Artist Award for Literature and is currently working on her first essay collection which will explore PTSD, trauma, and patriarchal constructions of knowledge and credibility.
Roe will facilitate her 1-hour taster workshops 'Fragmented Experiences, Fragmenting Structures' and 'Art & Personal Writing' on Monday 6 July 12-1pm & 2-3pm respectively

Meet Your Words on the Page Facilitators: Adam Wyeth 🎉
Adam Wyeth is a poet, playwright and essayist with five books published with Salmon Poetry. In 2013 Salmon Poetry published his book of essays, The Hidden World of Poetry: Unravelling Celtic Mythology in Contemporary Irish Poetry. This book is used as a teaching tool around the world and has been officially added to DeSales University (Pennsylvania) MFA program in Creative Writing and DePaul University classes in Chicago – Books for Celtic Mythology and Books for Contemporary Celtic Literature.
Adam will bring his 'Writer's Surgery - offering feedback and guidance to writers in a supportive and structured space on Tuesday 7 - Thursday 9 July as part of 'Words on the Page'

Colm Keegan is a writer and poet from Dublin. His poetry collections ‘Don’t Go There’ and ‘Randomer’ (Salmon Poetry) have received critical acclaim and he recently created ‘Ireland Is’ (2023), and ‘Every Blooming Thing’ (2025), two spoken word roadshows which toured nationwide. He has edited Poetry Ireland Review and was the Waterford Poetry Prize Judge 2020-2025.

David Butler’s novels include The Judas Kiss and City of Dis, both from New Island, and the story collections No Greater Love, (Ward Wood), and Fugitive, which was published in 2021 by Arlen House. City of Dis was shortlisted for the Kerry Group Irish Novel of the Year, 2015.

Meet Your Words on the Page Facilitators: Caitríona Daly 🎭
Caitríona Daly is a multi-awardwinning screenwriter and playwright from Dublin. Her work has been produced by The Abbey Theatre, Fishamble: The New Play Company and she has written for TV shows on RTE and the BBC.
‘Mary is Missing’ the short film that she wrote with director Aisling Byrne was recently awarded the Oscar Qualifying Grand Prix at the Cork International Film Festival in 2026. Her work is published by Nick Hern Books and has been translated and produced internationally.
