A workshop fills quietly, almost without fuss, until one morning there are no places left to offer. The workshop with Catherine Dunne has now reached that point and is sold out.👇
There is, however, no shortage of other rooms where the work continues. Across the week, writers will gather in small groups under the guidance of Enda Wyley, John Connell, Victoria Kennefick each bringing their own particular attention to the craft. 👇
There’s still time to get your entries in, but not much! Don’t miss your chance to be part of Listowel Writers’ Week 2026.
📅 Closing Friday, 27th March 2026:
✍️ Bryan MacMahon Short Story Award
✍️ Foras na Gaeilge Competition
✍️ Poetry Collection Award 👇

What if this Valentine's Day wasn't about buying something, but about feeling something.
About slowing down.
About creating.
About giving time, attention and inspiration to someone you care about.
This year instead of another object, consider gifting an experience - one that invites curiosity, creativity, and connection.
Our creative writing workshops are designed for people who want to slow down, explore ideas, and spend time with words that matter.
Roses fade. Chocolates disappear. Stories last forever.
Our writing workshops are a beautiful present for those who loves words, ideas, or has a story waiting to be told.👇
From beginners to experienced writers, there's something for everyone. And this kind of gift that lasts long after Feb 14th. Give an experience, not just a thing. Browse workshops here: 👇
