@BrianT0730@JamiesAct Kind of hard to beat the unified OS of the Xbox hardware… from the one to the series it’s all the same software different hardware so backwards compatibility is a breeze… the game GDK is also unified between windows and Xbox
@JamiesAct I get why people who game a lot and really want these titles would care, but for me these never came to Xbox anyway and I don’t have enough time to finish all the games I have already. I’m not buying a ps for those games … I still have 200 titles on pc I haven’t touched
@TRIPSTER0 Xbox and windows has a unified GDK/API. whats the point of skipping the xbox / windows version when microsoft takes a smaller cut from devs on their store? steam takes 30% of the sale.
@BRAP_Podcast Xbox and windows uses a unified GDK/API. Essentially very little difference between a Xbox and PC build anyway. You already write once for both platforms.
@JayDubcity16@JayBari_ Its not its a big win. We dont know if theyre hosting other storefronts on this console or just letting us access the library. If MSFT were smart they will make you access 3rd party stores elsewhere and just let you have your library. Make it easy to buy from them instead of stea
@Big_Dreamer_CH We know well be able to access the steam library. We dont know if theyll make you jump through hoops for the steam store. Just making it easier to buy from microsoft.
@F_DaVid_A Because I want one. Because microsoft are the ones that brought ALL of the platform features in a console we take advantage of today. Sony would still charge for memory cards if they could. Who ushered in cross platform play? Live services? Internal HDS? Play anywhere?
