Taoiseach @MichealMartinTD had the opportunity to view documents from the recently digitised Rector Hagan Papers. He was Rector from 1919-1930 & Vice Rector 1904-1919, very important years for the foundation of the state & establishment of diplomatic relations with 🇻🇦 in 1929

Yesterday, Taoiseach @MichealMartinTD visited the Pontifical Irish College where he had an opportunity to greet the College community and members of the Irish Religious community in Rome. He received a warm welcome from Rector Fr. Paul Finnerty and the team.

Pope Leo a gift edition of the Book of Kells, the original of which is in Trinity College .
