At today’s Family Planning Advocacy Meeting in Maputo, partners and the Minister of Health discussed stronger collaboration and sustainable funding to improve access to contraception and reproductive health services, especially for young people and communities in remote areas.
We hosted a powerful morning of reflection, featuring a documentary screening & an open dialogue on the vital role of women in society.
The session also explored practical ways to prevent #GBV, with valuable insights from Mozambican social activist Gigliola Zacara.
Today, April 7th, we honor the strength, resilience, and leadership of women who, every day, contribute to the development of their communities and to building a more just & inclusive society.
Happy Mozambican #WomensDay!

As part of the #StPatricksDay celebrations & an ongoing collab between Cnoc na Gaoithe & Xiquitsi, we share a brief recap of a music-fusion concert that captures the essence of this collaboration & its contribution to strengthening cultural ties between Ireland🇮🇪 & Mozambique🇲🇿.
We celebrated #StPatricksDay with a special reception, marked by the official visit of the Minister @nealerichmond .
This year, the toast is twofold, we celebrate our culture & three decades of diplomatic partnership between our nations🇮🇪🇲🇿.
A week ago, the Irish band #CnocNaGaoithe gave a special performance for the students of A Luta Continua Primary School in Maputo.
Was a joyful moment of cultural exchange & discovery, where the students had the opportunity to experience Irish traditional music up close.
