Ms. Cook and Mrs. Robin’s Pre-K class had a great time celebrating Read Across America with a special visitor, The Cat in the Hat! They read books, talked about rhyming words, made patterns, and tried new foods! Dr. Seuess’ Green Eggs and Ham was a hit! #CelebrateFonde
@TabithaK@Badwolffbay @politeiaevel @NBCNews But it’s not a journalist deciding. It’s a legal conclusion. Once a person admits guilt or is found guilty, allegedly should not be used. It’s a matter of being correct and proper. Let’s call it journalistic integrity. Report correct and legally accurate things.
@TabithaK @politeiaevel @NBCNews Regardless, unless it’s an Alford Plea, the defendant admits guilt. Once guilt is admitted or adjudicated, “alleged” is no longer appropriate.
@TabithaK @politeiaevel @NBCNews That is true in the case of an “Alford Plea” where a person maintains their innocence but agrees a trial would likely result in a guilty verdict. In this case, the defendant, Shah, admitted guilt in her plea. The word “allegedly” should be removed. She admitted guilt.
