Here’s an idea for stackable clues in OSRS that I’ve reconstructed several times in my mind over the past few years 😋 #osrsgamejam

Stackable clues should be added to OSRS, and the way that they should be introduced is through sailing! Presumably there will be an element of treasure hunting in the skill, as this just makes sense thematically. When stackable clues are added the quantity that you are able to hold should be determined by 2 things: sailing level, and clue scroll kc. Clue scrolls would now drop in an unopened state throughout the game, and the number of clues you are able to hold includes both opened and unopened clues. With this new system you will only be able to carry 1 opened clue at a time (same as in leagues), while the rest must remain unopened. At level 50 sailing you would unlock the ability to hold 2 of every clue tier at once. At 75 sailing you unlock the ability to hold 3 of each, at 90 4, and at level 99 you unlock the 5th and final clue slot from sailing. Additionally for every 100 clues of any tier you complete you can hold one more clue scroll of that tier, capping at an additional +5 stackable clues. So with 99 sailing, and 500 clues of every tier completed you could obtain a maximum of 10 stacked clues of every tier at one time. ⛵️🌅
