@SomethingRhymes@susie_dent Having just listened to this episode, I heard “Petering Out”. Of the superfluous knowledge I’ve accumulated I seem to remember the source was in reference to Salt Peter in gunpowder. And if not mixed properly or with to much. The powder would fizzle and not ignite… or Peter Out
@YoufeckingIdiot This is probably what is the source of 99% of all workers comp and insurance claims.
Not, “I was minding my own business when suddenly...”
😂😂🙄😳🙄😂😂
@LovePower_page As a commercial diver in the Gulf of Mexico I once while at about 300 feet I had two Groupers hang out with me like this. One was this size the other twice as big. They kept leaning on me, knocking my tools off, and disappearing then appearing right in front of my face.
@SoareSpinu @cctv_idiots There is no noticeable pressure on the body apart from the eardrums at the start of the dive.
Since there is no intake of pressurized air there is no decompression required either.
I’ve been to over 200m as a commercial diver (not Free Diving) with no problems
@SaltyDuchess@holdmyale @TrulyMarkCooper I don’t think it was anywhere near the propeller of the other boat, and that would not cause that.
It is highly likely that it was a fuel leak and the fumes in the water tight engine compartment combusted. That’s the only way for a fuel explosion like that.
@qikipedia On the “Roaming” episode Sandy talked about taking buildings down and transporting them. In 1929 Henry Ford founded the Henry Ford and Greenfield Village Museum, he collected 100’s of homes and buildings from Thomas Edison, to George Washington Carver. A great place.
@KidsPlaceLive@AbsolutelyMindy The mystery ATM there was probably a way to look at the time it was last powered (before being thrown into the pond. The cpu on those are protected from water and fire damage.
