One of my favorite events of the year at Iroquois, Connecting with our buddies from Van Corlear Elementary in Schenectady. Awesome to see our 8th grade students being amazing buddies to the youngest students from our neighboring district. @IroqMS
Paying respects.
500 high school students and staff members line Balltown Road for the funeral procession of fallen National Guardsman John Grassia III.
It’s always a “stampede” in the middle school but today was a literal stampede on Halloween! Protect those tusks IMS students. Have fun and be safe out there tonight.
Day #5: That's a wrap! Team Oneida students' hard work paid off as we did a culminating challenge showcasing our boats, coding, structures and teamwork!
#projectbasedlearning
Day #4: Rome wasn't built in a day, so we are giving 5! Team Oneida students continue to problem solve and apply critical thinking while navigating our builds!!
#problemsolving#MotivationMonday
Day #2 is on the books with our project based learning - we continued with boat builds and coding to help them sail, research and brochures about our civilizations and of course collaborating together as we explore! #lifelonglearning
The "I" in Iroquois cubes (used SEPTA’s district-wide mural) continue to represent each student's uniqueness as building blocks to the Iroquois community. https://t.co/6Fe2R5i0g3
And that’s a wrap… IMS drama club certainly handed out the “golden ticket” for three sold out performances of Willy Wonka Jr. this weekend. Awesome job!
