@kousenjuu Has there already a story about a slave pretending to be in love but once gained freedom, betrayed the master and sold him off as a slave? Such a start might be interesting but unfortunately I feel the story progression itself would be just predictable revenge.

@hiroshifp0215 Skeptics have to put this into context: It's the best eye-opener for the usual American fans. WrestlingBios have done an indept look on the background of this match and quotes from both men.

@musashi_gifu When Deadmau5 received the letter of demand from Ferrari, he immediately had the car restored and sold it. He then bought McLarens and a Lamborghini, both of which were more than happy to have his repeat business and publicity.
@musashi_gifu I've seen Toyota Hilux been modified to carry weapons in actual wars, let alone modifications done for visual pleasure. Ferrari threatened Deadmau5's parody mod, demanded he restore the logo and badges, but couldn't actually do anything to the colorful wrap itself.
@musashi_gifu I guess we see it differently. I compare it to a car enthusiast who lovingly restore or modify their vehicle on their own time, sharing their knowledge and passion to the world; long after the model was discontinued by the manufacturer who is more interested in selling new cars.
@musashi_gifu To begin with, the game itself is dormant and no longer supported. To you, it is like an egregious crime of resurrecting the dead. To others, it's as harmless as photoshopping the characters into memes, making essay videos or remixing the soundtrack, keeping the passion alive.
@HelloTher10@Erundel They will argue that "pirates exist and so it's risky for us to go into your market". The companies have completely lost their entrepreneurial spirit of the past where they ventured out to the world fearlessly. Now they are afraid of risks, already given up without trying.
@Erundel I wonder how many of their creators (not corporations) look at Korea (webtoons and Kdramas) and China (animation, mobile games) and wonder if Japan is visibly falling behind in expanding globally.

@Pirat_Nation Is Tim going to argue against more extensive ingredient and chemical information in food products as well? How is having more information before you buy be "abhorrent"?
@winter_shogun Hence the fan-translation for it took 10 years, completely free. The translator refuse to take money for fear of litigation... over a game released in 1995 with no official international version.
@kity_tea__@Catboy_Nyx_Nsfw It is unfortunate that while such platforms exists, they are still limited due to payment issues and credit card companies. Paying for them is a hurdle, and even creators have complained being unable to withdraw their revenue as well.
@winter_shogun I believe a more lenient view on modders would allow passionate fans to translate works themselves without fear will open markets for new titles. (eg: Super Robot Wars 4 for the SNES took 10 years).
Corporate localization can even be detrimental. https://t.co/zcYkKmsu9h
