Ensuring continuous irrigation to 32,270 hectares of agricultural land in Udalguri district, the Dhansiri Irrigation Project has brought smiles back to the faces of the region's farmers.

Based on this commitment, one of the most important irrigation initiatives implemented is the solar-powered DTWS at Moujuli Char area under the Palashbari–Jalukbari subdivision of Jalukbari Legislative Assembly Constituency.
The Kulia Nizora FIS has been ensuring continuous irrigation to 200 hectares of agricultural land under the Palashbari LAC.
Implemented by the Palashbari–Jalukbari Division of the Irrigation Department, here are some glimpses of the scheme.
With 23 kilometres of canal network developed, the project ensures assured irrigation and improved crop productivity, benefiting 22 farmers of the region through reliable water access and enhanced cultivation potential.
Nurturing an irrigated command area of 1,974 hectares, the Ubhati FIS Scheme in Kamrup district’s Palasbari LAC is strengthening agricultural resilience at scale.
Implemented by the Palashbari–Jalukbari Division of the Irrigation Department, these two irrigation projects are providing continuous irrigation to 240 hectares of agricultural land under the Jalukbari LAC, benefiting 75 farming families.
Our schemes have strengthened our commitment to keeping the state's farmland green and thriving. Among these, two important initiatives are the installation of 35 solar-powered deep tube wells in the Moujuli Char area and 40 electric-powered deep tube wells in the Rani area.
Implemented by the Dhakuakhana–Naoboicha Division, the scheme has brought significant benefits to 14 farmer families in the Naoboicha LAC, supporting sustainable farming and local livelihoods.
