The judge has found the class made out their case - this means Johnson & Johnson has lost, and the judge believes the #pelvicmesh products were defective and injured women, and the company failed to adequately disclose the risks of the mesh and women were injured as a result
Worth noting that Johnson & Johnson denied any liability during the case and "vigorously defended" it - even after the #pelvicmesh products were pulled from the market.
The landmark judgment is rumoured to be 700 pages long. There are tears among the women who have come to court to hear it and whose lives have been turned upside down by the #pelvicmesh implants.
@channing_stella @MeshAwarenessAU @ACORNStudios1 @GregHuntMP @ranzcog I was told the same. I 100% agree we need to change the stigma around prolapse. Doc said it looks better than it did before so you should be thankful I’m thankful that you’ve taken my life away from not only me but my young kids. Maybe he could explain to them why Im in this hell
This is the shit that is in my vagina, wrapped tightly around my urethra and intertwined in major nerves and muscles in my groin causing catastrophic daily pain. What an absolute disgrace @TGAgovau#banmesh before you destroy more people’s lives @ranzcog@JillHennessyMP
Worried much #JNJ? You should be. #TheBleedingEdge July 27th on Netflix. Shame on you! #PelvicMesh#women are SEVERELY injured have endured /suffered a lifetime of #pain & misery because of your shit #medicaldevice you refuse to #RECALL.

@rob37451553 @meshinjuredaus So true Rob. What a grim future we have to look forward too. Don’t know if I could do this for another 10 year let alone 40-50years
