What a whirlwind week! I came into this competition with very limited preparation as a result of long work hours. I’m happy I was able to identify Regieleki, Lando-I, and Calyrex Ice Rider as a potent core that works and adapts well in such a volatile format. Overall it was a blast working on this team and several adaptations of it over the last few months with @BaarsKaasVGC and @JamesWBaek! Thanks to Team Canada for all the support this weekend as well as @MattieMooVGC and the amazing people I met from the Irish VGC community. Also big shoutouts to @TheKingVillager@vgccorner@JoeUX9, @Izzy22x1, @slushi2k, and @PqlarBear for their support during the tournament! It was wonderful meeting people and friends from all around the world, I hope you enjoyed the tournament and Honolulu and I wish everyone safe travels home! 😊
S/V was fun. Played in 13 events over the 3 years. Felt like I improved as a player overall. The team selection/building was good but couldn’t translate that to a tournament win. Hopefully I can find a way to put together a more complete performance sometime in Champions.
T8 at LA regionals. Content with the team I brought and the overall run. Had amazing sets against great players and friends in the schedule. Happy to close out S/V with a decent performance. Shoutouts to @Clipperz1235 and @MattieMooVGC for help with the team and prep!

Honestly I don't understand why people are hating on the game so much...
I'm having such a good time, I feel blessed that we were given the opportunity to play this game. It feels like the new era of VGC is being ushered in with grand fanfare.
THE HATERS WERE PROVEN WRONG!!!🙏💯
@ProfHockeyYT Torturing fans with horrible line up decisions and deployment until someone steps and “earns the ice time”. Warsofsky putting on a tactical masterclass down the stretch 💀

This team is pretty fast paced,it uses the pressure Jolly Band Single Strike Urshifu applies in conjunction with Iron Crown and Landorus to pin annoying Tera Fairy options. The trio generally works well together although sometimes missing attacks can be dicey. Rain Dance over Icy Wind is an option worth exploring. Helping Hand + Tera Dark Wicked Blow has some really fun Calcs. I think this type of team was well positioned going into Seattle unfortunately didn’t hit many mirrors and didn’t play any hard trick room 😅
9-3 for a 41st finish at Seattle. Lost a set to Flutter Mane Thunder Wave shenanigans being in a completely winning position and played a set poorly double missing Bleakwind and Sandsear along the way for good measure. Lost in D2 in a close but pretty solid set overall so no complaints about that.
It’s another middling performance this season after back to back 24th places and a horrendous EUIC there’s a lot of things to improve across the board. I haven’t felt consistent enough to earn a deeper run which is frustrating. Hopefully things go better at LA.
This also ends my Regulation F thankfully. I’ll drop the teams I’ve worked on below if you’d like to use them for Houston.

The specs flutter here is slower than Jolly Dozo. I adjusted that and went with some changes for EUIC so I would at the very least run 148/156 timid on the Flutter if you decide to run this team. The Cresselia and Ursaluna spreads as well the Incineroar are also just up to personal preference and how you choose to play the 6. I found having at least 140 speed Urshifu on this team to be quite strong it functions well with both of the speed control options. I also think Physically defensive Amoonguss is the best option in terms of complimenting the AV Incineroar and the rest of the mons. The team can be as fast or slow/bulky as you need it to be, playing with Icy Wind and TR respectively.
