@eleotheosis @Arnauzer @AryasDemise Yes I do enjoy that league is very champion centric! However whenever I have played Dota and especially Deadlock after getting a taste of their item system and skill expressions like counterbuying, I would just love that in league as well 😭

[Bandit @IsBandit6053]

@Arnauzer @AryasDemise Just because they said “most people never used it” doesn’t mean it still isn’t poor design philosophy. In fact the reasoning they gave is even poorer. As for Bork’s active, I believe it was a case where it made more sense to be a passive over an active.

[Bandit @IsBandit6053]

@Arnauzer @AryasDemise The way a champion plays. The reason they never stuck is because many mythics were ridiculously overtuned and most non mythics just felt weak in comparison. Even before that items like GLP and Twin Shadows offered unique ways to play even if the impact was minimal.

[Bandit @IsBandit6053]

@Arnauzer @AryasDemise That’s not the point. You can enjoy playing league and prefer the game over others while preferring a more interactive item system. There has been a lot of nostalgia over mythic items recently because many of them offered new unique actives that could improve or change (1/2)

@BardyGG @scruffycitytv Yeah I looked and walked right out. I can wait and hope my local microcenter gets a couple cases in. Stopped by there today and they were loaded with Vendetta (~10 booster boxes not pictured). If not, I don’t mind buying in a few weeks at market.

[Bandit @IsBandit6053]

@BardyGG @scruffycitytv I believe my store did as well. Unfortunately when I went to check they were charging market price for the boxes. I understand buying from 3rd party and selling at market, but getting it from distro and selling at market is so scummy 🫤

[Bandit @IsBandit6053]

@KristinaSOSKi @JustinJGarcia You can make that same argument for almost any original historical art piece. People aren’t paying for the paper and paint they are paying for the historical significance behind it.

[Bandit @IsBandit6053]

@RiftboundGG Started getting into Riftbound recently. With the current trajectory its taking I think Spiritforged BBs will be an amazing long term hold. So many strong ONs of popular champs and it has a gorgeous Ahri headliner. I wish I had bought some when my local shop still had some!

@ContentWxGuy Yep. Roads definitely wet, slushy concoction laying on the bridges though. Beware the Ides of March!

[Bandit @IsBandit6053]

@ContentWxGuy Ehhhh im not so sure about that. Owings Mills MD.

[Bandit @IsBandit6053]

@ryankanerWX Easily. Already an inch here in Owings Mills and still thumping

[Bandit @IsBandit6053]

@ContentWxGuy Been coming down hard for about 2 hours now here in Owings Mills MD. Had the ground been cooler, would easily be sitting on 2-3 inches now. Grassy surfaces have already been coated entirely.

[Bandit @IsBandit6053]

@ryankanerWX And now just 20 minutes later, it is puking snow

[Bandit @IsBandit6053]

@ryankanerWX Rain, Sleet, and even a few snowflakes here and there in Owings Mills. Crazy
