We are still demanding (1) a forensic audit into the nonprofit and (2) a criminal investigation into the unpermitted renovations and code violations that hindered the escape and rescue of shooting victims.
We did it! There will be no more OnePULSE Foundation. Let this be a lesson: DO NOT EVEN TRY TO EXPLOIT MASS SHOOTING VICTIMS/SURVIVORS! The @onepulseorg is gone. We are still here. We are still fighting.
Stupendous reporting and historical context provided by @OrlandoWeekly. Be sure to contact @onePULSEorg for your refund. Who knows how much longer they will be around to process refunds? @pulseorlando

Watch what really happened at the October 23, 2023 City Council meeting, where the City of Orlando voted to purchase the Pulse Nightclub for $2M. @pulseorlando @onePULSEorg
Patty Sheehan: "I was also concerned about unpermitted renovations that I had heard about from some of the first responders and I did have a conversation with Zachary Blair about that... I was also very angry."
This is the City of Orlando. 7.5 years & not a peep.
We always wanted a public memorial, but this has been the wrong path for 7.5 years. We are not happy about the Pomas getting $2M, as many of us continue to sue for premise liability. Now City announces they are going to demolish & destroy the evidence. https://t.co/bYacCSpL3q
"How dare the Pomas think, believe, and continue to collect on our grief, pain, and torment. How dare they enrich their lives and vacation the world on funds that should be available to help gain a better life for us..." - Christopher Hansen (survivor)

Pulse survivors have spoken. We are tired of having our voices silenced by the @onePULSEorg. NO MORE! Our voices will be heard. WE DO NOT WANT A MUSEUM. WE WANT A PUBLIC MEMORIAL! This has always been the case & we have made it known since 2019. https://t.co/zAg2vLbSjE
More great reporting. Vegas was deadlier and happened a year after Pulse. Yet they are further ahead at getting a proper public memorial built. Also, they are not distracted by privatized museum plans and capitalizing off the massacre.

“If the organization is comparing the compensation only based on job title this isn’t a fair comparison since job titles can be assigned to anyone." Thank you @CWTips and @LaurieStyron for speaking to @orlandosentinel. Great reporting! FINALLY!

Revenue declines, but salaries increase. @onePULSEorg is a failing organization & its staff will bleed the organization dry without ever building a proper memorial, which was the original mission before it was changed 2 times to exclude financial help for survivors. @pulseorlando
A bipartisan bill is moving through congress known as the “Kids Online Safety Act.” It has support of Biden and Democrats.
But advocates fear it could target trans content online.
Now, a bill sponsor confirms that it will.

"I’m somebody’s meal ticket and they could care less about me. I can’t tell you how many times I reached out to the club asking for assistance or help and they directed me to places that they knew didn’t have any funds available for victims of any crime."

Strongly recommend reading https://t.co/nZNW1t49cS by @NoPulseMuseum -- (TW/CW: includes photos taken by investigators after crime scene cleanup, details about people trapped inside the Pulse nightclub)
Why was the building inspection of the Pulse Nightclub called off? Who called it off? Why was there never a building inspection? Why are Pulse owners allowed to continuously break the law? Recently, the City let them operate a memorial with a year-expired permit.
