I see the issue - you all are looking at the wrong chart you're looking at victimization reporting.

In the actual report on page 14 it has the chart for actual violent crime, and you can see an uptick in violent crime excluding simple assault.

The irony of ironies here - someone shared correct information but with the wrong screenshot and you jumped on them without reading the report yourself
