As you know, I have been traveling to the Army's winter quarters every year to see my husband, having to deal with arduous and often dangerous traveling conditions. This trunk is the one that I have been using for my trips during the Revolution. Do you like it? #HistoryatVasco

Good news!!! The american forces defeated the British army under General Hohn Burgoyne at Saratoga. Burgoyne had intended to split the new country in half, cutting off New England from the rest of the country but failed.
