Any decent human being with a basic moral compass should be outraged at Trump telling the traumatized Palestinian people that they shouldn't return to Gaza to rebuild their homes and mourn their dead, but instead he envisions a Gaza Riviera with hotels and condos.
The #CanadaPost strike showed who would throw workers under the bus at the earliest opportunity. We'll remember those journalists, managers, and other white-collar workers when AI accelerates soon and starts taking their jobs. I hope they get the empathy they deserve.
The #CanadaPost strike is bigger than the union + corporation negotiation. It's about whether or not all workers deserve to have secure jobs that allow them to afford homes, support families & save for their futures. Say no to the exploitation of all gig economy workers!

@victorthephenom Canada Post has a government mandate to deliver to every Canadian, which makes it unlike other companies. It has to deliver to 40 million Canadians living in a large geographical area which is expensive to do. It also cannot raise prices to be unaffordable to many people.
If you don't think #CanadaPost workers deserve to be fairly compensated for doing hard physical jobs that put them at higher risk of injuries, then I challenge you to walk 20km through the snow and ice in winter with a loaded satchel and repeat for at least 5 days.
I cannot fathom the feeling of the women who came forward about their sexual assault at the hands of Trump. Seeing millions of people vote for their abuser.
My heart absolutely breaks for these women. I believe you, and I am so sorry.
Some things to consider regarding the potential Canada Post strike:
-Canada Post provides a public service with a mandate to serve every Canadian. It's not meant to compete for profit with companies that pay workers the absolute minimum and don't have to reach every rural area.
