@SpragueFoods I am a long time customer, your lentil and vegetable soup is the best canned soup out there. The situation with the tariffs is not sustainable. My hope is it will be short lived, our trade relationship and agreements should be respected and upheld. The tariff travesty is tragic
Courage isn’t being a bully.
It’s doing what is right, what your values demand, when everything in the world is pushing you to take the easy way out.
It’s making the hard decision to put principles and values over short term gains.
Only one side was shouting and it wasn’t @ZelenskyyUa Zelensky showed leadership, strength and grace, standing up to these two bullies, who lack the most basic human decency. Fix your headline @AppleNews Trump and Vance throw insults at Zelensky
Kamala Harris was the perfect candidate and she ran a beautiful campaign of joy, empathy, and unity.
She just happened to run in a nation that is addicted to nihilism, cruelty, and division.
Being a woman is kind of like being a cyclist in a city where all the cars represent men. You're supposed to be able to share the road equally with cars, but that's not how it works. The roads are built for cars and you spend a great deal of physical and mental energy being defensive and trying not to get hurt. Some of the cars want you to get hurt. They think you don't have any place on the road at all. And if you do get hurt by a car, everyone makes excuses that it's your fault.
To get better at running, you have to run a lot.
To be a better writer, you've got to sit down and write, even when you don't want to.
If you want to get better at just about anything, you've got to do the work in the domain you care about.
You can't hack your way to excellence
When we are alone, we judge hills to be steeper than if we are with a friend, according to research.
Being with others makes the difficult seem just a bit more manageable.
This has not been sitting well with me. I've been indifferent to the submarine and likely because what I really feel is anger a cause from the injustice and hypocrisy. Where is the human decency?

“If the pandemic was whispering to us about air quality, the wildfires are screaming to us about it,” writes @linseymarr. “It’s clear we should be on the precipice of a new public health movement to improve the air we breathe.” https://t.co/UCldzm09V5
#ONStorm#ONwx ⚠️ Air Quality Update for Southern Ontario
VALID: 12 PM - June 7, 2023
Much of Eastern Ontario woke up to extremely poor air quality this morning with the AQI ranging from 300-500 in locations including Petawawa, Ottawa and Belleville. It appears that the air quality has marginally improved to put them in the unhealthy category, but Kingston still remains in the 'hazardous' category with an AQI of 312!
We are also seeing the air quality continue to deteriorate across the GTA and into Central Ontario with lots of locations reporting a very high AQI ranging from 150 to 200. This is expected to continue to be the case over the next few hours as that plume of smoke over Eastern Ontario moves southward.
Unfortunately, this is only a taste of what's to come as we are expecting even worse conditions tomorrow. More details on that later today!
PLEASE, stay inside and limit your exposure outside as much as possible. You should only be outside for critical reasons and for short periods. Yes, I'm looking at some of the schools that have irresponsibly decided it's still okay to let children go out for recess. 🙄 It's just not worth the risk - please stay inside!
We'll continue to follow the latest information and will provide updates as needed.
