Clarification on timing: this is response to the avalanche that happened Saturday evening.

Mt. Rose highway is closed just past the ski resort due to an avalanche/stuck vehicles. Cars will be turned around until the highway is cleared and plowed.

NDOT on scene says drives of the stuck vehicles were rescued and no injuries were reported.
