Today is a special day.
After months of building, testing, refining, fixing bugs, collecting feedback, and praying through every step of this journey…
Within is officially live on the Apple App Store. 🎉
What started as a simple desire to know God’s Word more deeply has turned into something much bigger than we imagined.
A few years ago, my co-founders and I realized something:
Most Christians want to memorize Scripture.
Very few actually build a lasting habit of doing it.
Not because they don’t care.
But because modern life is noisy, distracting, and constantly competing for our attention.
So we decided to build something different.
Within was designed to make Scripture memory simple, beautiful, practical, and deeply rooted in understanding the context behind the verses you memorize.
Not just another habit app.
Not just another Bible app.
A tool to help people write God’s Word on their hearts and carry it with them for life.
Seeing this finally live on the App Store feels surreal.
I’m incredibly grateful for:
• Our early beta users who gave honest feedback
• The people who believed in this vision before it existed
• My co-founders for the countless hours poured into this
• And ultimately God for opening doors we could never open ourselves
If you want to build a real Scripture memory habit and grow deeper in your understanding of God’s Word, I’d love for you to check it out.

For His glory 🙏
A few weeks ago, I shared that we were opening early access to Within.
For the past 3 years, @kieranlenahan and I have watched a Scripture memory movement steadily grow through our newsletter, Malachi Daily. People consistently showing up to memorize and understand God’s Word.
We’re more confident than ever that launching this app is the next step in our journey, one we feel God is calling us to take. We’re launching Within to help people go deeper in developing this practice.
Over 230 people raised their hands to try the app early and help shape what we are building. I cannot tag you all, but you know who you are. Thank you.
We released the beta last week, and the response has been incredible.
The best part is the honesty. People are not just telling us what they love, they are also telling us what needs work.
From what I have experienced so far, that is exactly how great products get built and this was our goal for putting this group together in the first place.
We have been listening closely and moving fast. I know @aidanbritnell has already had more than a few late nights making improvements so this is as valuable as possible for users from day one when we launch the app publicly.
We know that when God’s Word lives within you, everything changes. Your decisions, your peace, and your purpose.
We have now closed the beta, as we have a strong group giving feedback, but you can still sign up for updates and be the first to know when we launch next month here: https://t.co/5W5FJzCQt3
I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.
- John 16:33
One deep skill can open a lot of doors.
For me, it’s been helping people make money with Facebook ads.
That skill got me into rooms I wouldn’t have been in otherwise, and those rooms expanded what I’m capable of today.
Hone your craft.
If you follow Jesus, I’d bet my bottom dollar you’ll be asked this question at some point.
I’ve seen friendships and families fracture over how a Christian answers it.
I’ve also seen seeds planted and redemption begin because of how Christians answer it.
This is a total masterclass in grace and truth.
I really believe that most people are building businesses with anxious hearts.
Myself included, depending on the season or when things pile up too high to ignore the pressure.
Founders talk about being “locked in”. I do love that term and use it often… 😂
But Scripture talks a lot about peace.
“Do not be anxious about anything…”Philippians 4:6
I’ve learned that you have to check your heart often (daily) to find out where your motivation is coming from.
Especially those of us claiming to build things for the Glory of God.
You spend hours learning the world’s wisdom.
How to build faster.
How to ship products.
How to use AI and vibe code your way to the next thing.
There’s nothing wrong with learning those things. But Solomon, the wisest king who ever lived, wrote something that cuts deeper:
“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.” - Proverbs 9:10
Not intelligence. Not technical skill. Not strategy.
The fear of the Lord.
You can learn how to build great technology and still be unwise in the things that matter most. In your relationships and how you consider others. In your character. In the way you lead your family. In the way you handle success.
The world can teach you how to build things.
Only God can teach you how to live.
🤝 Couldn’t ask for a better friend and business partner than @kieranlenahan.
